How have your political views changed?

When I was a child I was taught that three things are to be avoided in conversation with polite company. The center point is that politics is one of them. Ones politics are everything, because they reflect values and morals that form the principles by which you live.

Truth spoken respectfully can even offend the most loving person. The premise of my identity is that I choose to love even if I disagree. We all want to be seen. We all want to be heard. We all are the loudest voice we hear since we are the star in our own favorite play.

So let’s be civil, I’ll get out a chisel, so to visualize false beliefs chopping away. The is truth that politics predict the outcome of every action in life and if my politics have not changed overtime then I have not grown, so of course my politics have changed overtime and now I know how to name them as the kindness that comes from seeking the fruits of the spirit in a world drowning with distractions and impulses that take us away from being compassionate to one another, believing that everyone is worthy of love and respect.
